Easy Collagen Hot Chocolate

This hot chocolate recipe has an added boost of collagen powder for healthy hair, skin, and nails and comes together in no time with just a few ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 Cups Milk of choice Highly recommend full-fat coconut milk or cashew milk (or a blend of any)
  • 1 Tbsp Raw Cacao Powder
  • 2 Tbsp Collagen Powder
  • 1 Tbsp Maple Syrup
  • 1/4 tbsp Pure Vanilla Extract Optional (enhances flavor)
  • 1 pinch Sea salt Optional (enhances flavor)

Instructions

  • Heat your milk of choice on the stove for a few minutes until warm
  • Add the cocoa powder, collagen powder, maple syrup, vanilla, and pinch of salt until combined. Use a whisk to combine all ingredients until they are fully combined. It may take a few minutes to thoroughly combine the cocoa power -that's normal!
  • Heat until your desired drinking temperature (approx 2-5 min)
  • Enjoy!

Easily customize this recipe by adding your milk and sweetener of choice.
Add whipped cream, mini marshmallows, or chocolate shavings for an extra decadent treat.
