Superfood Chocolate Chip Chia Cookies You’ll Love
These chocolate chip chia cookies have been by GO TO all season long. They’re made with simple, feel-good ingredients like chia seeds, oats, almond flour, and dark chocolate.
They’re sweet, chewy, and way more satisfying than your average cookie—because they’re actually kind of good for you too.

Chia Seeds
Chia seeds might be small, but they’re loaded with omega-3s, fiber, and antioxidants. They help keep your heart happy, your energy steady, and your digestion on point (source). Plus, they add a little crunch to these cookies that makes them extra fun to eat.
I added a full 1/4 cup to really amp up the fiber. I was afraid that they’d make the dough gummy, but they didn’t affect it at all. They gave that nice crunch without being overwhelming.
Organic Oats
Oats bring that hearty texture and are packed with fiber to keep you feeling full and satisfied. They’re also great for keeping your energy steady, making these cookies a perfect pick-me-up when you need it most.
Almond Flour
Almond flour is naturally gluten free and has tons of with healthy fats and vitamin E, which are great for your skin and overall health. It gives these cookies a slightly nutty flavor and that perfect soft texture.
Dark Chocolate
Any excuse to add chocolate, right? It’s full of antioxidants that help fight stress on your body while giving these cookies their rich, indulgent flavor. Look for chocolate with 70% cacao or higher to maximize its antioxidant content and rich flavor.
Maple Syrup
Instead of refined sugar, I used maple syrup for sweetness. Not only does it taste amazing, but it also brings some natural minerals like zinc and manganese which support your immune system and help reduce inflammation.
