Foreo LUNA 4 Go: Is It The Ultimate Travel Skincare Companion?

Over the past few years, I’ve become a big fan of Foreo and their LUNA devices.
I initially kept an old LUNA 2 around just for travel, and then I tried out the LUNA 4 and liked it even more – you can see my full review here.
I especially like the Foreo devices for travel because they are compact, easy to travel with, and easy to dry (no wet washcloths or wet facial cleansing brushes hanging around).
And while I have no issue packing up my Foreo LUNA 4 for travel, when I stumbled upon the Foreo LUNA 4 “Go” travel devices, I couldn’t resist them because they were so cute and travel-friendly.
Because this was smaller, I assumed it wouldn’t be as effective as the regular LUNA, but I was wrong – this thing packs a powerful punch, and I might even like it more than the regular LUNA devices!
About the Foreo LUNA 4 Go
The Foreo LUNA 4 Go is the compact and travel-friendly version of the popular Foreo facial cleansing devices.
Like all Foreo LUNA devices, the LUNA 4 Go uses innovative “T-Sonic pulsations” and silicone bristles to cleanse the skin thoroughly.
However, unlike the full-size LUNA devices, the LUNA 4 Go has one universal brush head for all skin types – the different colors are just for fun.
The silicone bristles are very soft and suitable even for sensitive skin, but they still provide a nice, deep clean.
The LUNA 4 Go has eight adjustable speeds, and the opposite side of the device can be used for facial massage. This can come in handy if you’re prone to puffiness.
Why the Foreo LUNA 4 Go is Great for Travel
Clear and Radiant Skin Guaranteed
If you ever battle with breakouts during travel, a Foreo LUNA 4 GO might be a great companion.
Foreo claims that the LUNA 4 Go is clinically proven to remove 99% of dirt, oil, and makeup residue.
Foreo also claims that 96% of users reported healthier-looking skin, and 81% reported reduced blemishes.
When I cleanse for the full minute, my skin is clean, and there’s no makeup residue, so the LUNA Go provides a deep cleanse.
The pulsations also help increase the absorption of skincare products (based on Foreo clinical studies). I have no way of personally proving the efficacy of this, but their clinical results look promising.
Compact and Lightweight
The Foreo LUNA Go is only about the size of a cotton round (65 x 30.6 x 59mm)! It’s tiny compared to the regular LUNA devices and barely takes up any room in my travel skincare bag.
No Need to RechargeÂ
Okay, technically, yes, you will need to recharge it eventually, but one of the best features of the LUNA devices is their long charge.
The LUNA 4 Go can be used 300 times on a single charge! Even if you used it twice daily, you wouldn’t have to charge it for five months.
Waterproof
One of my biggest pet peeves is having to pack up my wet toiletries on my last day of travel!
I really appreciate that the Foreo LUNA devices are waterproof and easy to wipe down. The silicone bristles also make this bacteria-resistant and hygienic.
Reduces Puffiness
When I travel, I tend to dine out and stay up later than normal which can lead to puffy, inflamed skin. It’s nice to have the option to de-puff if needed.
